There are a number of improvements or changes that we have done to the new BENZHI website.

Firstly, you will notice that it is a bit breezy at the new BENZHI site. That’s because we cleared out everything. Job boards were cleared, users were cleared, just about everything was cleared. Please allow us some time to get our advertisers posting jobs again.

We have learned over the years that allowing free job postings typically inundates the Job boards with spam postings from less than reputable sources. Replying to these “free” posts puts our valued users at a degree of risk. Hence we no longer offer free job postings. We believe that accountability is important.

Here are a few of the changes we have made.

1. Made the site secure. We realize that having a safe site is important both to us and our visitors. We spent a great deal of time making sure that we selected a CMS with rock-solid security and stability. If you recall, one of the things that brought the old website to a halt were the repeated "attacks" on the site.

2. Streamlined even more.
BENZHI has always tried to maintain a site that is easy to navigate by incorporating layouts that are fairly intuitive and simple to navigate. The vast majority of 100s of other EFL/teaching sites we have visited seemingly have forgotten this point.

3. Greater employer user flexibility. Schools, employers, and recruiters are an important aspect of the BENZHI site as they are the ones that bring the jobs – and the money to our teachers’ pockets. Our new site gives our employers flexibility on how they would like to post their advertisements through the incorporation of our new subscriptions options.

4. More robust forums.
Forums are great for learning from one another. We recognize this, and are using a powerful and easy to use forum system.

5. Revamped the BENZHI logo.
Our last logo was created in early 2002, and was appropriate for the time. Now, we live and work in a more modern and fast-paced world. Our new logo reflects our forward aggressive motion into the future.

6. Integrated an entirely new visual resume showcase. Now BENZHI provides all our users an area to showcase their teaching talents to attract potential employers. Resumes can be posted online and teachers now have complete control over their resumes. Teachers also have the option to upgrade their resumes be paying a small premium. By using a paid option, it gives teachers an edge over the rest of the resumes at our site by featuring their resume, or putting it at the top.

Again, we would like to clarify that BENZHI is not engage in recruiting personnel. BENZHI provides a method of connecting English teachers with EFL schools, EFL employers, and EFL recruiters.
